What we do  /  Web builds

Websites that bring work in.

A website should do a job. If yours is not bringing in orders, bookings or enquiries, it is a brochure that costs you money.

Fixed scope and price agreed in writing before anything starts.

BUILD PASSEDLIVE

The problem

Enquiries that used to come in, and now do not.

Most business websites were built once, by someone who has since moved on, and have not been touched since. They are slow on a phone, they do not appear when someone searches, and the contact form either goes to an inbox nobody checks or does not work at all.

The owner knows it needs sorting. It is never the most urgent thing on the list, so it never gets sorted.

What we build

Built around the job.

  • Sites that take the order. Online ordering, job booking and enquiry capture, wired into wherever you actually work.
  • Quick, and quick on a phone. Most of your customers are on a mobile, on patchy signal, in a hurry.
  • Found when someone searches. The technical groundwork and the listings that matter, done properly.
  • Yours to keep. You own the domain, the hosting and the content. If you want to move it elsewhere, you can.
  • Looked after, if you want it. Hosting, updates, backups and security patching on a monthly arrangement agreed up front, so it does not quietly break in eighteen months.

Recent builds

Some of what we have built.

Described by what they do rather than who they are for. Most of our clients came by referral and would rather not appear on someone else's website. Ask on the first call and we will show you the live sites.

01 / Fire safety and facilities

A site that sorts the enquiry before anyone reads it.

A multi division business that needed each service to stand on its own without becoming three websites.

  • A page for each division, under one menu
  • Enquiries land in the CRM next to the customer and the job
  • A free compliance pack their customers can use on their own

Built on GoHighLevel

02 / Gas and plumbing

A local trades site built to be found.

A trades business moving off an old domain without losing the search position it had built up.

  • Old addresses redirected, so existing links still work
  • Search groundwork done properly, including FAQs and business details
  • Review links put where customers will use them

Built on GoHighLevel

03 / Community and faith

One update, two places.

An organisation whose committee was updating a website and a screen in the building separately, by hand.

  • Prayer times update themselves on the site and the screen
  • One announcement posts to both
  • A mobile app now in build on the same information

04 / Hospitality

Online orders in the same queue as the counter.

A takeaway taking orders by phone and through a third party app with its own fees.

  • Online ordering on the business's own site
  • Orders land on the till alongside counter orders
  • Website, ordering and EPOS installed together

Before Hameldon

Earlier work.

Built by our founder, in employment and agency roles.

Before setting up Hameldon, Abs rebuilt the website for an international education institute, and worked on around twenty sites for the clients of a digital agency. They are not our clients, so we describe them rather than name them.

  • An international health education institute. A full WordPress rebuild, launched in 2026.
  • A resort hotel. Rooms, offers and direct booking enquiries.
  • A UK university. A student community blog.
  • An IT managed services provider. A lead generation site for a business audience.
  • A fire protection group. The group site and a separate site for its fire protection division.
  • An international employment firm. A site for businesses hiring staff overseas.
  • An international language school group. Courses and schools across several countries.
  • A guest and public wifi provider.
  • An enterprise AI software company.
  • A commercial printer.
  • A bed manufacturer. The company blog.
  • An art materials brand.
  • An online parenting community.

A word on price. We do not publish package prices, because a five page site and a full ordering system are not the same job. What we do promise is a fixed, written scope and price before any work starts, so you are never guessing.
