Commercial model

Scoped and priced first.

Work is scoped per requirement and delivered on a day rate or fixed price per project basis, agreed with the buyer before work begins. A defined piece of work with a clear end point is normally fixed price. Open ended or advisory work is normally a day rate.

We do not publish a rate card, because the right rate for a five page website and the right rate for a multi site network are not the same number. What we commit to is that the scope and the price are written down and agreed before anything starts, and that a change in scope is re-quoted before the work is done rather than after.

We take on a small number of engagements at a time, so each one has our full attention. If a requirement is larger than we can resource well, we will say so at the first conversation.

Delivery

How work runs.

  • United Kingdom. All work delivered from the UK. Integration, web and advisory work is largely remote. Network, cabling and installation work is on site, and we say how many days at the point of scoping.
  • Named individual. The person who scopes the work delivers it. No account management layer. Where a specialist is needed, they are named in the scope.
  • Documented handover. Every engagement ends with a written record of what changed, where it lives and how to run it. Written for whoever comes next, not for us.
  • No lock in. Domains, hosting, accounts, licences and documentation are held in the buying organisation's name throughout. There is nothing to recover at the end of a contract.
  • Standard technology. We build on mainstream platforms that another supplier can pick up. No proprietary layer of ours sits between you and your systems.
